help me, liz lemon
Help please! I've been putting together a portfolio website over the last couple of weeks and it's pretty much good to go. All I need to do is find somewhere to host it and somewhere to register a domain name. Sadly, I'm completely clueless when it comes to these things, and I don't want to fork over money to some company without hearing a good account from someone I know who's used them. So... any help?

I use Penguin and 34SP. Good service from both (and I've had nightmares with other hosting firms in the past).

stuartwest.com is 34sp. That's just basically a front page that loads my LJ entries. vision-on.net has some fairly hardcore publishing software installed, and that's on Penguin's hosting.

I've gone with 34sp. Pricing seems all right, and uploading stuff was a piece of piss. It looks pretty fast, too. Cheers!
